Talarico to campaign in Wichita Falls Sunday at the Forum

U.S. Senate hopeful James Talarico will campaign at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Forum in Wichita Falls.
Talarico is a Democratic state representative from San Antonio who hopes to challenge incumbent Sen. John Cornyn, a Republican.
If successful, he would be the first Democrat from Texas to serve in the Senate in 26 years.
Talarico’s website says he is a Presbyterian seminarian and former public school teacher. He has served in the Texas House since 2018.
He says on his website that he is running “to take his fight against corruption to Washington and win power back for working people.”
He says he has “led the fight against the billionaire mega-donors that have rigged the system against working Texas families. And I’m the only member of the Texas Legislature who has never taken corporate PAC money.”
Admission to the Wichita Falls event is free.
