COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Indiana appeared to lose leading wide receiver Elijah Sarratt to injury early in Saturday’s game at Maryland.

Sarratt, who entered the weekend leading IU with 45 catches, 609 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns, exited play sometime in the first quarter. He took multiple trips to the injury tent on Indiana’s sideline after appearing to suffer some sort of leg injury.

Following those trips to the injury tent, Sarratt was spotted on the sideline with his helmet off and a towel over his head. CBS reported early second quarter that Sarratt’s hamstring was wrapped and he was hoping to get in.

His streak of 46 consecutive games with a catch would be in jeopardy if he doesn’t return.

IU handed Charlie Becker, among others, more snaps in Sarratt’s absence. Becker had a 52-yard reception early in the second quarter.
