Details of Roscommon club’s Connacht quarter-final fixture confirmed

Details of St. Croan’s AIB Connacht Club Junior Football Championship quarter-final have been confirmed by Connacht GAA.

Vinnie Egan’s charges will meet Sligo champions, Cloonacool, in King and Moffatt Dr. Hyde Park on Sunday week, November 9th, at 1.30 p.m..

The winners will play Mayo champions, Kiltimagh, in the provincial semi-final a week later.

St. Croan’s were comfortable nine-point winners against Ballinameen in their county final, while Cloonacool needed a replay to overcome Eastern Harps.

Roscommon intermediate champions, Strokestown, will face Leitrim champions, Allen Gaels, in their Connacht semi-final on the weekend of November 15th/16th, with the final taking place a week later.

Meanwhile, the winners of Saturday’s county senior football final replay between Pádraig Pearses and St. Brigid’s will meet the winners of the Connacht quarter-final clash between Mayo champions, Ballina, and North London Shamrocks on the weekend of November 15th/16th.
