According to Racing Victoria, Absurde, Flatten The Curve, and Goodie Two Shoes all showed changes to their gait.

Racing Victoria on Thursday night stated,
“Absurde, Flatten The Curve and Goodie Two shoes presented with a change in its gait to previous veterinary examinations and will be re-examined on Saturday morning,”
“Interpretation resented soreness in its right front foot following its fifth placing in yesterday’s Ladbrokes Bendigo Cup and will be re-examined on Friday morning.”
Furthermore, these four horses were not Racing Victoria’s only issues.
Their stewards also forced Grand Pierro to be withdrawn, acting on veterinary advice following mandatory CT scans.
