Former Grand Valley State University quarterback Ryan Brady earned his first coaching win over his former team with SVSU’s 20-19 victory Saturday.

Saginaw Valley State University ended a 12-game losing streak to Grand Valley State University, finding points in unusual places.

The Cardinals scored on a two-point extra-point return and two more on an intentional grounding penalty in the end zone, giving SVSU enough points to earn a 20-19 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference win Saturday at Grand Valley.
