Lilith Fair documentary coming to the big screen in Waterloo

Those of a certain vintage will clearly remember the Lilith Fair tours of the late 1990s.
A new documentary that made its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival this year is coming to Waterloo.
Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery, tells the story of the creation of the Sarah McLachlan-fronted, all-female travelling music festival. It features live performances and in-depth interviews with the influential artists that participated, including Sheryl Crow, Olivia Rodrigo and Jewel.
The documentary has been available for streaming for the past month, but in November, it will be on the big screen.
Some larger theatres in Toronto will be showing it, but so will smaller independent movie houses like Waterloo’s Princess Cinemas.
It will hit the screen at the 6 Princess St. theatre on November 19.
Tickets are available now at the box office or online.
