EastEnders star Tameka Empson says it was ‘too soon’ in ‘triggering’ Celebrity Traitors admission

EastEnders star Tameka Empson has said that it was ‘too soon’ as she made a ‘triggering’ Celebrity Traitors admission.
The Kim Fox actress was one of 19 famous faces who made their way to the Scottish Highlands to join Claudia Winkleman for the spin-off of the BBC series.
Serving as one of the faithfuls, viewers got to see Tameka on the series for just three episodes before she was banished at the roundtable.
With comedian Alan Carr, ITV presenter Jonathan Ross and singer Cat Burns the series’ Traitors, Tameka was the second faithful who was dumped in spite of not doing anything wrong.
Scottish actor Mark Bonnar, known for being in Line of Duty, was furious to learn his suspicions about Tameka were incorrect, having led the charge against her.
Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Tameka provided an insight into how she found her short experience on the programme.

“It was an experience and a half, and a laugh (until the end……). So now I can watch the rest of the show like most of you without the knot in my stomach!!
“Who will be next?…… (your guess is as good as mine). Happy weekend People,” she captioned a black and white image of Traitors’ portrait.
Also thanking Scott Mills for interviewing her, Tameka went on to share how her appearance on This Morning on Thursday (October 16) was ‘triggering’.
“Thank you to @catdeeley @benshephardofficial at @thismorning. Lovely interview but the tables had to go.
“I find round table triggering since leaving / been banished from the castle. It was too soon,” she said.
Having taken part in Gok Wom’s catwalk segment on the ITV breakfast series, Tameka added in a separate post: “Whilst @thismorning @therealgokwan was there doing his fashion segment. The catwalk was set up so you know what I did don’t you?…. Yes I took the opportunity to flaunt myself.
“I think Gok was secretly impressed. So @britishvogue @voguemagazine @essence @womenshealthuk @naomi @edward_enninful @ee72 feel free to DM me to work out a shoot, thank you in advance. Thank you also to @susanasaurusrex for filming.”
During her appearance on This Morning, Tameka jokingly ran off the show’s set after noticing the similarities between the breakfast show and the Celebrity Traitors’ sets.
