JUNGLE JACK

The Sun revealed in May that the ex-soap star, 34, was in advanced talks for the jungle – a year after leaving the BBC soap.

And now Shona, who is newly single after splitting from her musician fiance, is now taking on the new challenge.

She played fan favourite Whitney Dean from 2008 up until her exit in 2024.

A source said at the time: “Jungle bosses have been keen to sign up the soap queen for ages.

“Shona is Walford royalty and hugely popular with TV viewers, she’s got bags of charisma and producers think she’ll be a great campmate.

“Plus fans haven’t seen much of her away from Enders, so I’m A Celeb will be an opportunity for her to show a completely different side to her personality.”

Over the weekend, The Sun revealed that Shona had split from Irish guitarist David Bracken, a year after he popped the question.

A source said: “They are on amicable terms, but have ended their romantic relationship.

“There are no hard feelings, they realised they wanted different things and are better off as friends. Shona is now focusing on her music and career.”

Model Kelly Brook is finally set for I’m A Celebrity — years after insisting she would never do it.

The radio host, 46, has been wooed with a big-money ITV deal to head Down Under.

A source said: “Show bosses have been after Kelly as a campmate for years and think she could possibly be their sexiest contestant ever.

“She’s glamorous, witty and a familiar face to ITV audiences, having appeared as a panellist for Loose Women and other shows.

“She’s guaranteed to make perfect TV viewing.”

The insider added of the Heart FM DJ: “Many viewers will be excited to see her strip off for the famous jungle waterfall show too.”

In 2018 Kelly insisted she would never take part in the series.

MARTIN KEMP

’80s pop heartthrob Martin Kemp will be leading the campfire singalongs this series.

Just days before the launch, it was reported that the Spandau Ballet singer, 64, was in talks for the show.

“Martin is a household name having been top of the hit parade with Spandau Ballet in the ’80s and then in EastEnders in the early 2000s – he’s a great signing and everyone is very excited at the prospect of getting him Down Under,” a source told the Mirror.

Martin’s son Roman Kemp was the first of the Kemp family to head into the jungle.

Roman, who is 32, headed into the jungle back in 2019 and lasted the full 22 days in the Aussie jungle.

When he made it to the final, Roman placed third, behind Coronation Street star Andy Whyment and winner Jacqueline Jossa.

EDDIE KADI

Comedian Eddie Kadi will no doubt be the practical joker of the group.

Keeping spirits high, the funnyman, 42, is ready for camp life in the Aussie jungle.

It comes after the star appeared on BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2023, partnered with Karen Hauer, and has filmed for Celebrity Apprentice.

A source said: “Eddie is hilarious and will provide some much needed comic relief to campmates in the jungle.

“He’s very quick-witted and the show will hopefully help land him lots of new fans.”

Earlier this year Eddie launched the Man Like You Podcast with former I’m A Celeb campmate Babatunde Aléshé, 39, who took part in the series in 2022, and TV presenter Mo Gilligan, 37.

ALEX SCOTT

Football Focus host Alex Scott will be joining the line-up.

The Sun revealed last month that the former Lioness and BBC presenter was in advanced talks to fly to Australia in the next few weeks to compete on the show.

Insiders said Alex, 41, was keen to land a place on the ITV series to show the public a different side to her.

A source said: “Alex loves pushing herself out of her comfort zone and where better to do it than the jungle?

“The public know her as a sportswoman and a serious broadcaster so she thinks she can show people a side to her that they’ve never seen before.

“Alex is game for anything and is a tough cookie so she’s ready for anything that gets thrown at her — literally.”

RUBY WAX

Chat show icon Ruby Wax will be asking the right questions and getting conversations going in camp.

The interviewer is lined up as a big-name for the new series.

A source said: “Ruby’s a proper TV legend and adds real gravitas to this year’s line-up.

“She’s interviewed some of the biggest stars in the world so will have no problem getting to know her fellow campmates.

“It will make great TV for viewers.”

She is also no stranger to taking on adventures.

She spent ten days on a remote island for Channel 5’s Ruby Wax: Cast Away in 2023.

Ruby found fame on ITV  sitcom Girls on Top in 1985 alongside Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders and Tracey Ullman.

JACK OSBOURNE

Rocker Ozzy Osbourne’s son Jack is one of the latest signings.

The youngest child of Sharon Osbourne and Black Sabbath singer Ozzy, who died this summer aged 76, is set to head Down Under for the ITV show, which starts on November 16.

Dad-of-four Jack, 39, is likely to have the greatest attention on him among the all-star cast owing to the spotlight which has been on the Osbourne family since Ozzy’s death.

A TV insider said: “He is believed to be going into the jungle with the full support of his mother and his sister Kelly.

“Jack is very likely to discuss Ozzy, which will be an incredibly moving moment for the campmates and for viewers and Ozzy’s fans.

“I’m A Celeb bosses are thrilled to have bagged Jack. He’s been a star in his own right since shooting to fame on The Osbournes 23 years ago.”

LISA RILEY

If two soap favourites weren’t enough, bosses are throwing in Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley.

Mandy Dingle has been in some of the ITV show’s biggest storylines since she first joined the cast 30 years ago.

But now she’s swapping life in the Dales to sleep in a hammock Down Under.

Lisa, 49, has never hidden her desire to go into the jungle either.

A TV insider said: “Lisa is the perfect celebrity for the show because not only is she from a soap watched by millions she’s one of its biggest characters and it’s an ITV show to boot.

“She also has a naughty, mischievous sense of humour which is guaranteed to get a big response from her other celebrity campmates during their time in the jungle.

“Lisa is by no means the first star from Emmerdale to have gone on I’m a Celebrity and those that do always tend to get a great response from viewers at home.”

AITCH

BRIT Award winner Aitch has signed up for this year’s I’m A Celebrity.

The 25-year-old will be the first rapper on the hit ITV show since Tinchy Stryder 11 years ago.

Aitch has had nine Top Ten hits and worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Stormzy.

A TV insider said: “Aitch has a massive following among teenagers and 20-somethings and bosses will be hoping he’ll bring a new generation of fans.

“He’ll make for great viewing as he has a plethora of stories from his time in the music industry.

“He’s also known for having a sharp wit which will keep his campmates and viewers entertained.

“Producers want a broad appeal for audiences at home, and he forms part of the bid to have celebrities of all ages taking part.”

Aitch, real name Harrison Armstrong, hails from New Moston, Manchester, and launched his career aged 15.

VOGUE WILLIAMS

The Sun revealed last month that the Irish model and presenter Vogue, 40, was joining the line-up.

It comes a decade after her husband Spencer Matthews took part in the ITV show.

Spencer was removed from the camp after three days because he was secretly taking steroids. He did not tell ITV producers he was taking the pills beforehand.

A TV insider said: “Vogue would be one of the most glam signings I’m A Celeb has landed in years and they are thrilled.

“Her star is massively on the rise and this would be one of her biggest gigs yet.

“She is really fun and gets on with everyone, so bosses reckon she will be a hit with viewers.

“It will be a hard decision to go on the show, because it will mean so much time away from her kids, but she wants to fight her fears and go for it.

“Spencer is a massive thrillseeker and is always off on an adventure, but now it is Vogue’s her turn to have one.”

ANGRY GINGE

Hugely popular football influencer Angry Ginge is about to become a household name.

The social media star, who has more than three million fans across Insta and TikTok, is set for a stint in the jungle on I’m A Celeb.

It comes after Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, was named Man of the Match at this year’s Soccer Aid.

A source revealed: “ITV bosses always like to have a social media superstar on their cast, especially after GK Barry proved such a success last year.

“Angry Ginge has bags of personality and was really friendly to everyone at Soccer Aid this year.

“He made a great impression.”

Angry Ginge regularly shares big moments of his life and career with his fans — including working with football legend Wayne Rooney.

TOM READ WILSON

Celebs Go Dating favourite Tom Read Wilson is set to round out the line-up of stars heading down under.

The 38-year-old won the nation’s hearts as the charismatic receptionist on the E4 matchmaking show, which he has appeared on since 2016.

A source said of his jungle stint: “ITV bosses are confident Tom will be a real breakout star in this year’s series.

“He’s got a huge personality and is totally hilarious, so he could be a real dark horse and be hugely popular with the public.”

Prior to Celebs Go Dating, the musically-trained star auditioned for The Voice UK, but failed to get the coaches to turn their chairs.

But Tom has certainly had the last laugh, racking up an impressive CV of telly appearances over the years.
