Reading v Stevenage (20:00 GMT)

Reading have come through the turmoil under previous owner Dai Yongge but they still have many battles ahead of them before they can find true stability.

Their current predicament is to try to avoid the drop to League Two, a fate they are by no means clear of at this stage, and new boss Leam Richardson is the man tasked to, at least, ensure survival.

But his start was a disappointing one, an early exit to non-league Carlisle United in a big FA Cup upset.

“Every place I’ve been to so far we’ve been able to leave the place in a better state than we found it and had success along the way,” Richardson told BBC Sport.

“Hopefully this is no different, we’re trying to build an elite working environment to try and win.

“We are putting in place habits and non-negotiable fundamentals that you need to have to represent [the] football club.”
