Rams lose star WR to injury again in third quarter vs. Saints

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua suffered an ankle injury in their Week 6 battle with the Baltimore Ravens that caused him to miss their next game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium.
Nacua returned to the Rams’ lineup in Week 9 after their bye, but after a productive first half, the wide receiver suffered an injury in the third quarter.
On a fourth-and-1 play from New Orleans’ 7-yard line, Nacua took the jet sweep from Matthew Stafford and took it three yards for a first down. However, Nacua came up injured. He went to the sideline before heading back to the locker room with the training staff.
Los Angeles announced that Nacua is dealing with a chest injury and is questionable to return.
The Rams are already without Tutu Atwell, who landed on injured reserve earlier this week, and if Nacua can’t go, they’ll be left with Davante Adams, Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield and Xavier Smith at the position for the fourth quarter.
