BBC Breakfast star says ‘it’s bad’ as he shares update after incurable cancer diagnosis

A former BBC Breakfast star said “it’s bad” as he shared an update after his incurable cancer diagnosis on Tuesday (November 4).
During today’s edition of the hit morning programme, hosts Sally Nugent and Jon Kay updated viewers with the latest news from across the UK and around the world.
They were joined in the studio by John Watson, who presented the sports segment, while Carol Kirkwood delivered regular weather forecasts.
Later the in the show, Sally and Jon spoke to former BBC Breakfast host Dermot Murnaghan. Earlier this year, the 67-year-old presenter revealed that he had been diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer.
Sharing an update on his “incurable” diagnosis, Dermot revealed: “I’m doing good. At this point it’s incurable, but it’s not untreatable… It isn’t game over. It’s bad, but there are great treatments out there.”
