Watch: Aldi marks decade of Kevin the Carrot with romantic Christmas ad

Aldi has lifted the lid on its 2025 Christmas campaign, marking ten years of its much-loved mascot Kevin the Carrot with a romantic turn in the supermarket’s latest festive advert.
The first instalment of a three-part campaign debuted online on Monday, ahead of its TV launch at 8:15pm, with a teaser that sees Kevin preparing to propose to his long-time partner, Katie the Carrot.
The advert is set against a snowy backdrop, and the short film features Kevin and Katie’s pet, Caulidog, waiting outside Katie’s home with a diamond ring attached to its collar.

The TV spot marks a milestone moment for the animated character who has fronted Aldi’s Christmas ads since 2015. Aldi UK managing director of buying Julie Ashfield said the campaign was designed to celebrate a decade of Kevin with “an extra sprinkle of magic and romance”.
“We know how much our customers adore Kevin,” said Ashfield. “This teaser sets the stage for a truly heartwarming Christmas, reminding us all that love is at the heart of the festive season. We can’t wait for everyone to join Kevin and Katie on their journey and see what other surprises we have in store.”
The discounter said two further episodes will be released over the coming weeks.
Aldi’s Christmas advert follows fellow grocer Sainsbury’s also publishing its festive campaign, featuring the return of its Christmas character, the BFG.
