DJ Durkin announces starting QB for Auburn’s matchup with Vanderbilt

After making his first Auburn start against Kentucky last week, Ashton Daniels will remain the Tigers starter against Vanderbilt, interim head coach DJ Durkin announced on Wednesday’s SEC coaches’ teleconference.

Daniels threw for 108 yards on 13-for-28 passing against Kentucky and was briefly benched in the fourth quarter. He was then inserted back into the game for the final drive, but Auburn was unable to score, losing 10-3.
