Jonathan Ross told off by BBC after discussing The Celebrity Traitors

Jonathan Ross says he’s been warned against discussing The Celebrity Traitors after spilling a couple of secrets on his podcast.
Ross is one of three ‘Traitors’ still in the game along with Cat Burns and Alan Carr. Each of the trio has been a traitor from the beginning and each has had their name brought up by other contestants at least once during the roundtable. However, all three have so far avoided banishment.
In a recent episode of this podcast, Reel Talk, which he hosts with his daughter, Honey, Ross said he “didn’t actually enjoy” his time on the hit BBC series, calling the experience “uncomfortable.”

He also discussed moments that had been cut from the first two episodes, including “many funny things” from Carr.
“There’s something that happens later on that I know, which should be in but isn’t in. There’s this gold, Alan Carr gold, waiting out there to be spun. So maybe the BBC will consider, ask Alan, maybe they could put Alan’s Unseen Highlights together,” Ross said.
This doesn’t appear to have gone down well with those running The Celebrity Traitors. Ross indicated as much when he shared in the most recent episode of Reel Talk that he’d been sent a “comprehensive list” of things he was “not allowed to talk about.” He indicated the rest of the cast had been sent the same list as well.

Ross also said: “I didn’t realise, but I’m not allowed to talk about the stuff that’s edited out, which I can understand why.
“So, I’ll skirt around as much as possible and not break any rules.”
Ross added: “And most of it, I can see, is to protect the integrity of the game as a viewing experience for people. So, it makes perfect sense.”
Previously, Ross shared he’d been contacted by celebrity friends about whether they should sign up for The Celebrity Traitors season two.
The Celebrity Traitors airs at 9pm on BBC1 and the iPlayer on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
