Gov. Murphy’s income went up last year, records show. Here’s how much he made.

Gov. Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy made about $3.4 million in income last year — about $2 million more than they pulled in the year before, according to partial tax returns and a tax summary the governor’s office released Wednesday.
Murphy and his wife, who file their returns jointly, also paid about $1.3 million in state and federal taxes, according to the documents.
