Lily Allen brings West End Girl tour to Cardiff and has hand-picked the venue

Lily Allen will bring her brand new album, West End Girl, tour to Wales. Playing her first dates for seven years, Allen will tour the UK in March 2026 and be in Cardiff’s New theatre on March 18..

The show – Lily Allen Performs West End Girl – will see the singer/songwriter play her brand-new album in its entirety, in the order the songs appear on the record. Lily has chosen the theatre venues specially to showcase her new material. The tour concludes with two nights at The London Palladium.

Allen has described West End Girl, released on Friday (24 October), as “a mixture of fact and fiction which I hope serves as a reminder of how stoic yet also how frail we humans can be”.

West End Girl is turning heads and widening eyes all over the internet. The release, her first in seven years, documents through a series of fact-blurring-with-fiction tales, her break-up with David Harbour, the actor who rose to fame thanks to his role as Detective Hopper on Netflix’s Stranger Things.

In a recent interview with Perfect magazine, Allen admitted the end of her marriage is “really sad”, and she finds it hard not being with her “person”.

She said: “I don’t know what I can say. Two people who were once together are not together. And that’s really sad.

“It’s hard. It’s hard for me to not have my person, you know? And I am quite a codependent person.

“And I find it difficult to lean on the people who are available to me when I’m missing the comfort and stability of what is not available to me.”

The singer recently explained that she continues to feel “compassion” for her ex, telling told Vogue magazine: “There were lots of good things. My kids had an amazing experience living in America for five years, and I have a lot of compassion for my ex-husband. I think we all suffer.”

West End Girl has seen Lily collaborate with Welsh singer/songwriter, Violet Skies from Chepstow who’s also worked with Diana Ross and Mabel previously. Violet co-wrote the track on everyone’s lips, Madeline, as it details marriage betrayal, as well as Sleepwalking, Let You W/in (my fave), Dallas Major, Relapse and Beg For Me.
