Coronation Street’s Gareth Pierce has thrilled fans by posting a rare family photo.
Gareth became a household name when he joined the popular ITV soap in 2020 as Todd Grimshaw, taking over from Bruno Langley. During his time on the show, he has been involved in several major storylines.
Particularly in the last twelve months, as in June, his on-screen mum Eileen (played by Sue Cleaver) departed the cobbles after 25 years for a fresh start in Thailand. He also began a relationship with Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) this year.
However, Todd is currently embroiled in a new plot that delves into abuse within a same-sex relationship involving a clearly distressed Theo.

Theo’s behaviour has not only become increasingly controlling of late, but the abuse has also escalated to physical violence on several occasions. Earlier this month, it was revealed that the soap is planning to broadcast a special episode centred on Theo and Todd, reports the Daily Star.
Away from the Coronation Street set, actor Gareth is happily married to his partner Amy Lee Pierce, whom he wed in 2014. The couple have a daughter together.

Gareth’s Instagram reveals him to be a devoted family man, frequently offering fans a peek into his domestic life via his profile. Recently, Gareth delighted followers by marking a family “first”.
On his Instagram, Gareth posted a video of himself, his wife and daughter at his daughter’s “first” ever concert. The family enjoyed a gig by American band Haim – and they had an absolute blast.

In one video, Amy and their daughter are seen enthusiastically supporting the band. Gareth captioned the post: “Thanks to@haimtheband @livenationuk @utilitaarenacardiff. She’s done some festivals, but our girl’s first proper gig experience was AMAZING.”
Gareth’s rare glimpse into his family life left fans swooning. One follower commented: “She is having the time of her life.” Another added: “Living her best life.” A third remarked: “Looks awesome.”
Gareth tends to keep his family life under wraps, particularly avoiding posting images of his young daughter’s face on social media. However, it’s evident from his posts that they share a tight-knit bond.
