Bevel Raises $10M to Scale AI Health Assistant Using Wearable Data

Bevel – a New York-based startup that, in its Series A, raised $10 million from General Catalyst to scale its AI assistant in healthcare. It combines data from wearable devices and daily habits, turning them into personalized insights about sleep, activity, and nutrition.
Over the past year Bevel has seen substantial growth – to over 100,000 daily active users. The average user opens the app about eight times a day, and the retention rate exceeds 80% over 90 days.
The Bevel team integrates data from the Apple Watch and other popular wearables via Apple Health and directly syncs with Dexcom and Libre continuous glucose monitors; Garmin and other integrations are in development. This powers Bevel Intelligence – the software core that analyzes key information and adapts recommendations to each user, revealing how the body responds to stress, movement and nutrition.
Bevel’s story began with pain – literally.
«Bevel meets you where you are, learns from your habits, and helps you make small changes that, over time, have a compounding effect.»

“A ring or bracelet for $500 is not accessible to many people,” said Agarwal. “We’re already generating so much valuable health data from our core wearables and other everyday sources. We wanted to do something that would be more accessible to a substantially larger number of people.”
