CELEBRITY SIGHTING: See Which Star Watched Cirque du Soleil’s Drawn to Life Show in Disney World!

We’re not the only ones who love visiting Disney Springs for its diverse shopping, dining, and entertainment. Popular stars and celebrities enjoy the magic of Disney World as much as we do — isn’t that sweet?

One of the most popular (yet underrated) experiences in Disney Springs is the Drawn to Life show by Cirque du Soleil — an incredible live performance full of heart, whimsy, and acrobatics. We’ve really enjoyed the show each time we’ve seen it, and it looks like a popular television star also decided to stop by to check it out!

Johnny Galecki, who is most known for playing Leonard in the hit TV show The Big Bang Theory, just stopped by Disney Springs to visit Drawn to Life! He met with the cast and crew of the show and signed their backstage wall after the performance. You really never know who might spend a day in Disney World!

Previously, we spent a day with one of the performers from Drawn to Life, Saulo Sarmiento, so we saw firsthand the incredible amount of work and dedication that goes into putting on this wonderful show. Drawn to Life performers often do 8–10 shows a week, but that doesn’t include their daily workouts, warm-ups, physical therapy, rehearsals, and nutrition plans to keep them ready to perform. It’s INCREDIBLE.

The show itself brings animation to life in such a heartfelt way. In the story, Julie, who has recently lost her father, a Disney animator, discovers an unexpected gift he left behind — an unfinished animation piece. Using a special pencil, animations are literally brought to life through drawings, often paying homage to Disney stories and legends, such as Mary Blair. It’ll make you laugh, it’ll make you cry, and we very rarely hear of anyone leaving the show not completely in awe.

You can purchase tickets to their shows online ahead of time (which is recommended, as they can sell out), and if you’ve got a free day spent in Disney Springs instead of in the parks, we can’t recommend it enough.
