The Detroit Red Wings continue their road trip on Friday night in Orange County, as they prepare for a matchup with the Anaheim Ducks.
The Red Wings had a strong start to their trip through the Golden State. After outlasting the St. Louis Blues to begin their five-game road trip, Detroit managed to pull out a 4-3 shootout victory against a challenging Los Angeles Kings team on Thursday night.

The Wings now look to extend their winning streak to four on Friday night, as the team looks to prove it can both at home and on the road on a consistent basis.
The Ducks are hoping they can finally start to climb back up the Pacific Division standings this season. With a young core and some key veterans, the team has its sights set on at least competing for a Wild Card spot.
Anaheim has won three of its past four games, including a hard-fought 3-2 shootout win over the Florida Panthers on Tuesday
