Shane Bieber’s wife Kara reacts to Alejandro Kirk’s spouse Sofia Castaneda turning heads at Dodgers vs Blue Jays World Series game

After helping his team win the AL East for the first time since 2015, Toronto Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk has continued to show his quality in the postseason. In the World Series against the LA Dodgers, Kirk has been swinging a hot bat, hitting two home runs and recording six RBIs in five games.

While the 26-year-old has been hard at work on the field, his wife, Sofia Castaneda, has regularly made the trip to the ballpark to cheer for him from the bleachers, be it at home at the Rogers Centre or on the road at Dodger Stadium.

On Friday, she posted a series of snaps from her time watching Game 5, which took place on Wednesday.

“Recent > 🤍” Sofia Castaneda posted.

Fellow Blue Jays starting pitcher Shane Bieber’s wife, Kara, left a comment on the post, summing up her reaction with a series of emojis.

After beginning the World Series with a bang, the Blue Jays found themselves trailing the Dodgers 2-1 after losing Games 2 and 3. Shane Bieber took the mound in Game 4 on Tuesday, attempting to bring the series back level.

The AL East champions went on to win the game 6-2. Bieber pitched 5.1 innings, giving up a single earned run and striking out three.

Soon after the game ended, Shane’s wife, Kara, took to Instagram to celebrate the hugely important win.

“Game 4. Answered prayers 🤍” Kara Bieber posted.

As it turned out, things got even better for Toronto in Game 5, as it won 6-1, courtesy of an incredible performance from rookie Trey Yesavage.

After taking two from three in LA, the Blue Jays now head back home, one win away from their first World Series championship of the 21st century.
