Chiefs vs. Bills: Rashee Rice evens score with first career rushing touchdown in Week 9

The Kansas City Chiefs are in the middle of a heated, low-scoring battle with the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium.

After winning the toss and electing to defer, the Chiefs allowed a touchdown on the Bills’ opening drive before finding the endzone themselves in the second quarter to even the score.

A methodical drive by Patrick Mahomes was capped off by a rushing touchdown scored by star wide receiver Rashee Rice.

The six-point score was Rice’s first career rushing touchdown, and tied the game at 7 points after kicker Harrison Butker successfully converted his extra point try.

Take a look at this video of Rice’s scoring run, which was posted to Twitter by the Chiefs’ official account:

Rice’s return in Week 7 has been a boon for the reigning AFC champions. Head coach Andy Reid was quick to reintegrate the former SMU Mustang into Kansas City’s offense, and Rice’s efforts have helped the Chiefs rebound from their 0-2 start in the regular season.
