NFL Week 9 scores and live updates: Bills lead Chiefs at half, highlights and latest from Sunday’s games

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — The Los Angeles Rams lead the New Orleans Saints 20-10 at halftime.
It’s a battle between a quarterback making his first career start in Tyler Shough and one making his 230th in Matthew Stafford, and both have mostly looked the part. Shough can’t find much time to operate against the Rams’ ferocious pass rush, though he did heat up on a final drive before hitting Juwan Johnson on an 11-yard score.
Stafford is blending his go-to receiver in Puka Nacua with a newfound use of the tight ends to enjoy a really efficient day so far. Stafford is 18 of 23 for 215 yards and three touchdowns. He has eight touchdown passes over his past six quarters.
Nacua has looked like his old self and then some after taking a game and then a bye week off to rest his sprained ankle. He skied through the air for a 39-yard touchdown pass from Stafford, and he’s up to six catches for 87 yards and a score.
But this game shouldn’t be as close as it is. The Rams missed out on a touchdown opportunity when Davis Allen was caught grabbing the facemask of a defender near the goal line. Joshua Karty has also missed two kicks and left four points on the field.
