The great white shark is one of the ocean’s top predators. But in this case, it didn’t stand a chance.
A pod of orcas working as a team surrounded the shark. They took turns manipulating it in their mouths, keeping its white underside turned toward the surface, before descending with it. Minutes later, one orca resurfaced with the shark’s liver, and the pod passed it around — like a bowl of mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving dinner.
