While the Cowboys’ defense took an early injury hit Monday night, one of the team’s veteran pass rushers returned to the game in the second quarter.
Pass rusher Dante Fowler Jr. went to the locker room during the first quarter of Dallas’ Week 9 showdown against Arizona.
Fowler went down when he was pulled to the ground by a Cardinals offensive lineman. It appeared Cardinals tackle Jonah Williams grabbed Fowler’s facemask as he pushed the pass rusher to the ground.
Fowler was back on the field in the second quarter, coming up with a big tackle on Cardinals RB Zonovan Knight to force a third down.
