Why Bradley Beal isn’t playing tonight vs. Thunder with injury update

The Los Angeles Clippers are more shorthanded than they’d want to be Tuesday night against the defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder.
The biggest name out is Kawhi Leonard, but Bradley Beal is out, too.
Beal is one of the new guys, acquired in an offseason deal. He’s got a great history in the NBA, but if the Clippers don’t have him on the floor, he’s not as useful.
It doesn’t sound like a long absence, at least.

Why isn’t Bradley Beal playing tonight?
Bradley Beal is out Tuesday night for injury reasons.
The Clippers have actually termed it knee injury management for Beal.
He’s only averaging 8.0 points per game so far this season.
With Beal out, Kris Dunn likely will start for L.A.
Beal and Leonard’s combined absence point toward a big usage night for James Harden.
But really at this point, Beal’s absence may not mean a whole lot toward the Clippers’ chances of winning. It seems he’s a shell of his former self at this point, which is a shame.
