Benfica and Bayer Leverkusen are in search of their first win of the Champions League campaign on matchday four. Following their embarrassing 7-2 defeat to PSG, Kasper Hjulmand’s side suffered another disappointing loss to a much-changed Bayern Munich side.
The Danish coach recalled Alejandro Grimaldo to the lineup for tonight, while Christian Kofane won back his place from Patrik Schick. Robert Andrich is suspended after receiving a red card in the previous matchday. With the Argentine duo Exequiel Palacios and Equi Fernandez out injured, Ibrahima Maza will take the captain’s role as a holding midfielder.
Jose Mourinho’s team is without Alexander Bah, Manu Silva, Bruma, and Amar Dedic due to injuries. Former Bundesliga players Dodi Lukebakio and Leandro Barreiro are in the starting XI of the hosts. Here are the lineups for tonight’s match at Estádio da Luz.
