Explanation why Ivan Juric could quickly be sacked again after Southampton nightmare

Ivan Juric departed Southampton days before the end of last season. He joined Atalanta in the summer but he is now facing major troubles at the Italian side.
La Dea are 11th in the table and last won a game on the 30th of September. Their last Serie A win came on the 21st of September.
SportItalia report the ex-Southampton manager is at risk of being sacked – again.
Atalanta’s next two games against Marseille and Sassuolo are expected to be key. Failure to win can lead to his exit, with alternatives now being considered.
As of now, the Atalanta management have confidence in the Croatian. But that is closely associated with results.
Juric could endure his third sacking in less than 12 months. He was sacked by AS Roma in November 2024, and Southampton then sacked him in April.
There were signs of promise in Bergamo for the 50-year-old. The team has created enough chances but conversion has been a problem, leading to multiple draws.
That is perhaps why it will make sense for Atalanta to remain patient.
