Celebrity Traitors fans say they ‘can’t wait’ as the BBC confirmed the series’ future in a major update.
Households across the UK had their eyes glued to their TV screens on Thursday night (November 4) for the final of the Claudia Winkelman series.
Having been joined by 19 famous faces at the beginning of the series, only five remained heading into the highly-anticipated final episode
It was a tense evening, with traitors Alan Carr and singer Cat Burns trying to outsmart faithfuls Joe Marler, Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga.
With Joe and Nick forming an alliance, the faithfuls looked like they had it in the bag as Cat was banished at the roundtable.
However in a stunning twist, Nick soon turned on Joe after becoming suspicious of how he conducted himself after Cat’s exit.
Nick, David and Alan then decided to end the game, with Alan winning the series and £87,500 for his chosen charity.

Speaking in a talking head after his win was confirmed, Alan said: “All that lying was worth it, all that money is going to them, they are a wonderful charity.
“What a roller coaster, maybe I do exaggerate a showbiz story but it was tough lying to people.”
Just moments after the credits of the series finale aired, the BBC dropped a mysterious trailer about the show’s future.
The teaser saw a faceless traitor walking through the forest with a lantern in their hand as they made their way to the turret.
It was then revealed that the next series of the public version of The Traitors is coming to BBC One and iPlayer in 2026.
Those who caught the teaser at home rushed to X, previously known as Twitter, to express their excitement at the programme returning.

If past years are anything to go by, the series is likely to drop in January, with more stars and viral moments set to be made.
