Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink’s role in season 5 explored as fans concerned

Stranger Things season five is arriving on Netflix soon, marking the final chapter of the beloved series.
While the majority of the main cast will be returning to their roles, viewers are worried about how much screen time Sadie Sink’s character Max Mayfield will receive.
After serving as bait for Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower), her strategy backfired and she nearly lost her life.
Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) was able to rescue her, but she has remained in a coma, hovering between life and death.
Although Sadie Sink will appear in Stranger Things season five, how much she’ll feature remains unclear, reports the Manchester Evening News.
In the main trailer for the final season, Max appears only momentarily, and she is still comatose.
Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin) is shown transporting her in an elevator, with danger looming ahead.
Her limited presence in the promotional footage has sparked speculation among fans that she may play a more supporting role this season.
Some viewers have suggested she won’t emerge from her coma, but could potentially assist the group through psychic abilities.
On Reddit, byharryconnolly said they anticipate her being alive and recovered by the series conclusion.
They said: “Either she’s going to be awake and active inside Henry’s ruined mental space or her mind will be released from Henry’s and returned to her body by the end of episode one or the start of episode two.
“(Mind heist! Eleven and her friends are going to invade Henry’s mind and steal her away.)
“I also think that being trapped inside Henry’s mind will give her a special insight that will help Eleven and Will defeat him in the final episode.
“At the finale, I expect her to be alive. She might be blind or walk with canes or both, but she and Lucas will be together, and they’ll have a happy life.”
MaxPesky added: “Plot wise I’m confident that Max will play a role in defeating Vecna, although am unsure in what capacity, and a lot of it depends on what is her current state of being and how she could survive.”
Stranger Things season 5 volume 1 airs on Netflix on November 26 in the US and November 27 in the UK
