First Alert Weather Day: Tracking Friday evening storms and the freeze that follows

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -A quiet start, before all eyes are on the potential for strong storms developing later today.
FRIDAY: Increasing clouds with rain or storms developing during the evening. Timing has storms moving in around 5PM for the plateau and pushing south/southeast through the rest of the area through about 10PM unless the system speeds up. Our entire area is under a severe weather risk, with damaging wind gusts being our primary threat. Wind gusts upwards of 35 mph, especially across the highest peaks. Rain will continue overnight Friday, exiting after midnight.

WEEKEND: Mostly cloudy with an isolated shower Saturday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s with lows around 50. Showers are possible Sunday morning with falling temperatures in the afternoon as a big cold front moves through. Lows will fall into the low to mid 30s Sunday night.
FIRST ALERT! QUICK COLD BLAST NOVEMBER 10-12TH! Clouds will linger on Monday with windy and cold conditions. Highs will likely stay in the 40s in the Valley and in the 30s in the higher elevations of the Smokies. A few showers may mix with elevation snow showers through the day. Some accumulation is possible above 2500 feet in the high terrain. Lows will drop into the 20s Monday night bringing the coldest air of the fall season. It will gradually get warmer by late next week.
