What Ole Miss football is paying The Citadel for Week 11 home game

OXFORD — Ole Miss football is paying The Citadel $500,000 for a Week 11 matchup, according to records obtained by the Clarion Ledger.

The No. 7 Rebels (8-1) host The Citadel (4-5) on Nov. 8 (Noon. CT, SEC Network+) at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

The Citadel is a military college in Charleston, South Carolina. The Bulldogs are 3-3 in the Southern Conference.

It is the second matchup in school history. Ole Miss beat The Citadel 27-7 in Oxford in 2005.

How much Ole Miss football is paying nonconference opponents in 2025

Ole Miss is spending $2.75 million on its four non-conference games in 2025.

The Georgia State game in Week 1 was the most expensive game. Ole Miss paid Georgia State $1.6 million.

Ole Miss paid Tulane $250,000 for a Week 4 game. The Rebels won 45-10.
