Strictly’s Vicky Pattison reveals awkward moment with Taylor Swift’s security as she’s set to dance to star’s song
STRICTLY Come Dancing star Vicky Pattison has opened up about a toe-curling clanger with Taylor Swift’s bodyguard.
Former Geordie Shore star Vicky – who is dancing to Taylor’s latest track this weekend – told The Sun exclusively about her experience with the superstar’s security.

The 37-year-old revealed: “I am absolutely thrilled to ribbons to be dancing to Taylor Swift this week.
“I almost met her once, I don’t know how many years ago it was, but I attended the MTV EMAs in Frankfurt back in my Geordie Shore days.
“We presented an award that evening and Taylor was there performing.
“We shared the same carpet – not at the same time, of course – but it was all very exciting.

“During the evening, we were wandering around the venue and I nearly bumped into her but her security politely directed me out the way… argh!
“So I was very close to saying hello but didn’t quite manage it!”
The I’m A Celeb winner continued: “I love her though. I love her music, I love her honesty, I love the feminist flag she flies.
“I am just really excited and I hope the Swifties like our performance on Saturday.
“I know they are a very passionate fan base and I consider myself one of them so if we smash it, it’s going to great!”
Making her way nearer to the end, she said: “The competition is getting tougher each week and everybody is so good they all deserve to stay in, so I’m feeling the pressure even more so this week.
“I’ve been so lucky to dance to Cheryl, Bonnie Tyler and now Taylor Swift – three amazing icons.
“If there was any other icon I could dance to in the ballroom, I’d love to dance to Miley Cyrus or Whitney Houston.”
Vicky and her pro partner Kai Widdrington were saved by the public last weekend and shared their gratitude with show host Claudia Winkleman.
Kai revealed they would be dancing a Tango to Taylor Swift‘s latest hit, The Fate of Ophelia.
Taylor is known for her die-hard fan base – and Strictly fans are convinced that Swifties around the country will vote for Vicky no matter how good her performance is.
It will be the first time this year on Strictly that anyone has danced to one of Taylor’s songs.
Vicky recently received rave reviews after being told she “could actually probably, maybe, possibly go all the way” by head judge Shirley Ballas.
The reality star won ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ in 2015 and was crowned Queen of the jungle.
