Strictly Come Dancing viewers rushed to support Amber Davies after she was pipped to the post on the leader board.
On Saturday (November 8), the competition was heating up for Strictly Come Dancing contestants as the live show officially marked the halfway point of the series.
It was an intense week for the stars as the votes were closer than ever, with the top score being 39 and the lowest just ten less at 29 out of 40.
Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin were pipped to the post at 38 points by Vicky Pattison and Kai Widdrington who received the best score of the night with 39.
At the judging panel, Anton Du Beke said: “I thought it was absolutely marvellous. I’m a bit stunned, it was that good”.
Although Craig Revel-Horwood criticised VIcky’s left hand, he added: “Apart from that, it was perfect.”

Amber was drafted in at the eleventh hour to replace an injured Dani Dyer, after the former Love Island winner fractured her ankle during training for her first live performance.
It was just 24 hours before the first live show aired, but she’s faced criticism from viewers who think her West End career has given her more experience and training in dance.
Amber has clapped back at said comments, adding that Latin and ballroom is new to her aswell.
After her dance during Halloween week, she posted: “Still can’t believe WE have made it half way through the @bbcstrictly competition really.. 6 weeks ago I had no idea how the end of year was going to look for me & with just 1 phone call and 48 hours later I was waltzing on live tv with @nikita__kuzmin .
“That’s definitely one of those stories I’ll be bringing up around a dinner table in 40 years time [crying laughing emoji].”
She added: “Working hard on the salsa routine for the weekend of course Nikita hasn’t held back & again if you have sent a vote our way and supported our lil team thank you so much.”
Fans rushed to X (formerly known as Twitter) after her Salsa, claiming Amber deserved full marks for the performance that included many brave lifts from Nikita.
@andcapernosity wrote: “Amber and Nikita deserved a 40 for that. Nonsense.” as @wdclew added: “Amber was given no bad comments, told she was amazing and still didn’t get a 40… what does she need to do lol”
@sdk8ball echoed: “Amber robbed of a 40 there, so brave there deserves a lot of respect for that” and @rhysrhys93 penned: “Nikita and Amber were robbed of their rightful 40”.
