Kerry Katona has launched a scathing attack on her Atomic Kitten replacement Jenny Frost, more than two decades after leaving the girl group.
The vocalist, 45, rose to prominence as a founding member of the band in 1998 before exiting in 2001, following news she was expecting her first child with Westlife star Brian McFadden.
Former Precious performer Jenny quickly stepped into her shoes, with the trio subsequently achieving massive commercial success after the line-up change.
Kerry, alongside Jenny and former bandmate Natasha Hamilton, appears in BBC Two’s latest documentary Girlbands Forever.
Spanning three episodes, the programme explores the behind-the-scenes battles endured by iconic female groups throughout the nineties and 2010s, reports OK!.

During the second instalment, Atomic Kitten’s creator Andrew McCluskey discloses the band faced being axed by their record company after Kerry’s exit.
However, when their cherished track ‘Whole Again’ dominated the charts, the group received a new lease of life.
The track’s phenomenal triumph, and the fame that followed, was enjoyed by newcomer Jenny alongside original performers Natasha and Liz McClarnon.
Kerry believes her successor’s achievements weren’t earned.
Speaking in the documentary, she remarks: “I don’t know Jenny that well, I’ve nothing bad to say about Jenny because I don’t know her. But I wish her the best of luck.”
Kerry delivered a withering blow, adding: “I mean, she was handed it [the fame]. She was. You’re welcome.”

Bandmate Natasha recognises that Jenny’s decision to join the band just as their popularity seemed to be waning was a golden opportunity.
“Jenny took a massive risk but that risk paid off immensely. Because she came into a band who had an instant number one and we flew from that moment on,” the 43-year-old revealed.
However, Jenny has no regrets about her decision. “I never felt bad for Kerry because she’d made a decision,” she admitted.
“She had chosen she wanted to be with Brian and have a baby. So that was her path. I went for it and it worked out. Maybe she regrets leaving the band, whether she admits it or not I don’t know.”
The new docuseries features in-depth interviews with stars from Little Mix, Mis-Teeq, Sugababes and All Saints, alongside Atomic Kitten.
All three episodes of Girlbands Forever are available to stream now on BBC iPlayer.
