Josh Hokit made quick work of fellow newcomer Max Gimenis at UFC Fight Night 264, then cut a promo straight out of the book of Chael Sonnen and others.
Polarizing Dana White’s Contender Series contract winner Hokit (7-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) needed just 56 seconds to land heavy shots on Gimenis (6-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and put him on the mat, forcing the referee to call off the heavyweight bout at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Once the fight ended, Hokit wasted no time ignoring Paul Felder’s question about the bout during the post-fight interview and going straight to work on the microphone, calling out Valter Walker for a showdown next.
“I’m the talk of the town, the USA sound, the most profound,” Hokit said. “The boy toy, the ladies’ joy, the master of disaster, the truth-speaking pastor’s pastor. … I already stomped two Brazilians, and I’m looking for a third. Valter Walker, you absolutely suck.”
