Navy Federal employees craft 500 blankets for vets with Soldiers’ Angels in Pensacola

PENSACOLA, Fla. — Navy Federal employees teamed up to make blankets for local veterans in need.
During the event, 500 blankets were crafted.
They teamed up with a nonprofit called “Soldiers’ Angels” to make the no-sew blankets.
“Hundreds of our local team members rallied together to make 500 no-sew blankets to support Veterans,” said Jennifer McFarren, AVP, strategic partnerships & community impact, Navy Federal Credit Union. “Alongside Soldiers’ Angels, we’re providing comfort, gratitude and service to our nation’s heroes this Veterans & Military Families Month. We hope these soft, cozy blankets will remind our Veterans each day that they are valued in our community and in our hearts.”
The blankets will go to VA hospitals and veterans experiencing homelessness.
