Meanwhile, across The Pond, the Princess of Wales, 43, dazzled with her eldest George and the King for the Remembrance event in London.
Kate and Prince George, 12, appeared alongside King Charles, 76, and Queen Camilla, 78, at the event honouring military service members.
The Princess of Wales was wearing a stunning dress by Alessandra Rich adorned with an HMS Glasgow Brooch.
Kate was also wearing earrings which once belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Her Poppy was beautifully made by Izzy Ager of Lock & Co. who has recently graduated from The Royal School of Needlework.
Harry’s decision to wear a poppy on the eve of Remembrance Sunday comes as he urged others to check in those carrying the “weight of war”.
The Duke, who currently lives in the US with wife Meghan, hailed the “things that make us British”, including banter and the pub.
While recognising the importance of remembering those who lost their lives, he urged others to check in soldiers carrying the “weight of war”.
Harry called on Brits to “join them for a cuppa…or a pint” to hear their stories and “remind them their service still matters”.
In the essay, which also reflects on his trip to war-torn Ukraine, he warns how easy it is for veterans to be forgotten “once the uniform comes off”.
It reads: “Every November the world, for a moment, grows quieter. We pause, together, to remember.
“Remembrance has never been about glorifying war. It’s about recognising its cost…
“… the lives changed forever and the lessons paid for, through unimaginable sacrifice.
“It’s also about honouring those who, knowing that cost, still choose to serve.”
Harry also wrote about his recent trip to war-torn Ukraine, hailing the “resilience” and “fierce determination” of the Ukrainians he met.
He adds: “There is a similar stoic spirit of self-deprecation and humour in Ukrainians, that I recognise more than any other, in us Brits.

“Though currently, I may live in the United States, Britain is, and always will be, the country I proudly served and fought for.
“The banter of the mess, the clubhouse, the pub, the stands – ridiculous as it sounds, these are the things that make us British.
“I make no apology for it. I love it.”
The Duke went on to pay tribute to the “courageous” servicemen and women he fought alongside during his own time in the military.
He writes: “I’ve had the privilege of serving alongside men and women from all four corners of the UK…
“… from Antrim to Anglesey, Lancashire to London, Wrexham to the East Riding, Belfast to Bedfordshire and beyond.
“I saw courage and compassion in the harshest conditions imaginable.
“But I also saw how easy it can be, once the uniform comes off, for those who gave everything, to feel forgotten.
“They safeguarded our freedom. We must safeguard their future. That way we all benefit.”
In London, the Royal family entered to a fanfare from trumpeters as they entered the royal box and took their seats.
Prince William was absent following his week in Brazil celebrating the fifth anniversary of his environmental award, the Earthshot Prize.
The Prince of Wales had also been attending the COP30 summit.
The Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance is staged annually on the Saturday evening of Remembrance weekend.
It honours the bravery and sacrifice made by the British and Commonwealth armed forces community.
This year’s festival, marking the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, includes musical performances and testimonies.
Blending past and present, the personal stories highlighted the experiences of those lost during more recent conflicts.
