Just as things were looking up for the Chiefs heading into last week’s Bills game, Buffalo once again came out on top.
After an uncharacteristically slow start to the season, the Chiefs managed to improve their record to 5-3 following a three-game winning streak. But the Bills stopped Kansas City’s momentum in a 28-21 victory on Nov. 2, making it five straight times the Chiefs were defeated at the hands of their AFC rivals during the regular season.

The Chiefs will not play this weekend, as Week 10 will serve as their bye week of the 2025 season.
What is a bye week?
A “bye week” is a week in which a team doesn’t have a game scheduled. It essentially gives players time to rest and provides the team a chance to regroup and figure out their next steps for the rest of the season.
Every NFL team gets one bye week per season, but not all at the same time.
