We are only 15 days away from Wicked: For Good being released to theatres, and quite the celebration has kicked off in Oz!

NBC’s Wicked: One Wonderful Night television special aired November 6, with several sparkling new delights for fans from composer Stephen Schwartz, and Playbill has a special look at each and every one.

First up, the film shared a clip of Ariana Grande performing the brand-new song “The Girl in the Bubble,” including footage of Glinda when she was a young, innocent dreamer.

Second is a clip of Cynthia Erivo performing the new song “No Place Like Home,” which explores Elphaba’s decision to return to stay in Oz instead of running away, on the off chance that things can be repaired and change can be achieved.

In the clip, you can see flashbacks to Elphaba and Glinda’s Shiz University days, with Boq, Nessarose, and Fiyero happily lounging around in a vibrant red poppy field.

And lastly, in an unannounced surprised quartet with Schwartz himself on the piano, Erivo and Grande performed “For Good” onstage at Broadway’s Gershwin Theatre (where the stage musical Wicked is still running). Original Elphaba, Idina Menzel, and original Glinda, Kristin Chenoweth, joined them for a partially rewritten verse that paid tribute to the multi-decade legacy of Wicked, and the power of handing that legacy on to a new generation of performers.

The full concert is available to stream on Peacock now. A digital album of all performances, including the full rewritten “For Good,” Ariana Grande’s “Thank Goodness,” and a “Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again” tribute to Judy Garland, now on all music streaming platforms.

The two-hour special celebrated the upcoming cinematic release of Wicked: For Good, the second half of the two-part Wicked adaptation, hitting movie theatres November 21. Hosted by Erivo and Grande, the TV event also featured performances by their co-stars, including Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Slater, Yang, and Marissa Bode. The concert included reimagined musical arrangements, cast interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, exclusive surprises, and a sneak peek at what’s to come in the next chapter of Oz, including the most comprehensive preview yet of the two new, original songs written expressly for the film by Schwartz.

Filmed at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, the event transformed the venue into the Emerald City, complete with a 37-piece live orchestra led by the award-winning musical director Stephen Oremus. Choreographer Christopher Scott reimagined numerous dance numbers from the screen to the stage for the special.

The special was produced by Fulwell Entertainment. Ben Winston and Raj Kapoor executive produced.
