Probable Formation: Roma vs Udinese

Roma is set to face Udinese on Sunday in the last game before the international break. Having played on Thursday against Rangers, the team might include some fresh players in the lineup against the Zebrette. However, Gasperini will still be missing key attackers such as Paulo Dybala, Evan Ferguson, and Leon Bailey due to injuries, so there may be few changes. Additionally, Angeliño remains sidelined.
With the trio of absences in attack, we might see the same attacking trio as on Thursday. That includes the two goal scorers—Lorenzo Pellegrini and Matías Soulé. That duo will support Artem Dovbyk. Where there should be a change is in the midfield, where Manu Koné was given some rest for most of the match in Glasgow. He will replace Neil El Aynaoui. Partnering Koné will be the ever-present Bryan Cristante.
Another potential change is on the left wing where Kostas Tsimikas started in the Europa League. He’ll be replaced by Wesley, who has shown he’s versatile enough to excel on the left in Angeliño’s absence. Opposite him will be Zeki Çelik. Çelik moving up the wing opens up a starting spot for Mario Hermoso in the back three alongside Gianluca Mancini and Evan Ndicka.
ROMA (3-4-2-1): Svilar; Ndicka, Mancini, Hermoso; Wesley, Koné, Cristante, Çelik; Soulé, Pellegrini; Dovbyk.
