CHICAGO – The Marquette men’s basketball team gets its first significiant test of the season when it takes on Indiana at noon on Nov. 9 at the United Center.
The Golden Eagles (2-0) have had a busy week, opening the season with a victory over Albany on Nov. 3 and then beating Southern on Nov. 5. MU also got a commitment from 2026 recruit Alex Egbuonu on Nov. 6.

Indiana is a smart passing team with center Reed Bailey and has a knockdown shooter in Tucker DeVries. MU’s defense could get overly aggressive and give those two players holes to exploit. This will be a fun one with both teams willing to get up and down.
