Here’s what you need to know about how to watch the Texans vs. the Jaguars, today’s matchup, the NFL Week 10 schedule, TV lineup and more.

2025 NFL season record AI predictions: Win-loss picks for all 32 teams

The Texans have been excelling on defense, giving up only 267.4 total yards per game (best). On offense, they rank 19th by putting up 321.1 total yards per game. The Jaguars are compiling 22.0 points per game on offense, which ranks them 21st in the NFL. On the defensive side of the ball, they rank 17th, surrendering 23.0 points per game.

The Jaguars will be without their top two receivers today, as Brian Thomas Jr. is inactive due to an ankle injury and a knee injury put Travis Hunter on injured reserve last week. The two combined for 76 receiving yards in Jacksonville’s win over the Texans on Sept. 21, including Thomas’ 46-yard catch and run to set up the game-winning touchdown.

The Jaguars will likely lean on Parker Washington to pick up the slack in their absence. The Sugar Land native had eight catches for 90 yards in a win over the Las Vegas Raiders last week. Keeping Washington in check will be more difficult for Houston with Jalen Pitre out with a concussion, as he works primarily out of the slot where Pitre normally roams. Finding ways to limit Washington’s production will be key for the Texans in stopping Jacksonville’s passing attack

Everything you need to know about the NFL match between Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars, as well as kick-off time and team news

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans square off Sunday at NRG Stadium in a key Week 10 NFL matchup.

Jacksonville heads into the contest fresh off a dramatic 30-29 road victory over the Raiders, surviving Las Vegas’ failed two-point attempt in overtime.

The Texans, on the other hand, are looking to rebound after a tough 18-15 loss to the Denver Broncos, which dropped them to 3-5 on the season.

Jacksonville enters at 5-3 and just halted a two-game slide. The Jaguars fell to Seattle 20-12 and then were thumped by the Rams 35-7 in London. They were able to steady themselves last week, edging the Raiders 30-29 in overtime. Trevor Lawrence battled through illness and still punched in two rushing scores, throwing for 220 yards with one interception. Parker Washington stepped up with eight grabs for 90 yards. The defense had a rough day, though, allowing four touchdown passes to Geno Smith, and it took a late stand on a two-point attempt to seal the victory.

Houston sits at 3-5 and is flirting with missing the postseason picture. Since their Week 6 bye, the Texans have gone 1-2. They handled the 49ers 26-15 but sandwiched that win between losses at Seattle and at home against Denver. To make matters worse, C.J. Stroud exited last week’s game with a concussion and will not suit up here. He completed six of ten passes for 79 yards before giving way to Davis Mills, who threw for 137 yards on 17 completions while trying to rally the Texans late.
