NBA legend Wilkens dies at the age of 88

NBA legend Lenny Wilkens died Sunday at the age of 88.
A native of Brooklyn, Wilkens is one of five people to be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame as both a player and coach.
As a player, Wilkens was a nine-time All-Star over 15 seasons spent with the St. Louis Hawks, Seattle SuperSonics and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Wilkens averaged 16.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game over 1,077 career games in the NBA as a point guard.
After his playing career, Wilkens became one of the winningest coaches in NBA history, leading the SuperSonics, Portland Trail Blazers, Cavaliers, Atlanta Hawks, Toronto Raptors and New York Knicks from 1969 to 2005.
Wilkens led the SuperSonics to their lone NBA title in 1979 and owns the record for most games coached with 2,487. His 1,332 wins ranks third all-time behind Gregg Popovich and Don Nelson.
He made back-to-back playoff appearances with the Raptors in 2001 and 2002.
