NBA Best Bets: Pistons at 76ers Prop Bets for Sunday 11/9/25

ZT details his best player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Sunday night’s game between the Pistons and the 76ers.
This Sunday, the NBA has a solid seven games on the scoreboard, and in one of the evening contests, two Eastern Conference playoff hopefuls clash in Philadelphia. It should be an entertaining matchup between the Detroit Pistons and the Philadelphia 76ers, so let’s dive into the matchup and find some fun player prop bets to play.
The Pistons are 7-2 with the best record in the Eastern Conference coming into the matchup, but the Sixers aren’t far behind at 6-3. The Sixers are coming off a 10-point win on Saturday over the visiting Raptors, while the Pistons have won five straight after cruising past the Nets in Brooklyn on Friday.
On Detroit’s injury report, Tobias Harris (ankle) will miss a chance to face his former team, and Isaiah Stewart (ankle) is doubtful, while Caris LeVert (knee) is probable. For the Sixers, Jared McCain (thumb) will be available for the second night of the back-to-back, but Joel Embiid (knee), Paul George (knee), and Dominick Barlow (elbow) have all been ruled out.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Detroit is a road favorite by 4.5 points, with the game total set at O/U 233.5 points. In addition to the main game line, DraftKings Sportsbook has a host of player prop bets for Sunday night’s matchup. In this post, I’ll take a look at a few of my favorites. Let’s dive in.
Best Pistons vs. 76ers Player Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Tyrese Maxey 40+ Points + Assists + Rebounds (-108)
Maxey has been exceptional to start the season for the Sixers, averaging 33.2 points, 8.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds, and 46.6 PRA (points, rebounds, and assists) per contest. Maxey had 31 points, seven assists, and four rebounds for 42 PRA on Saturday night at home, and in his four home games, he’s now averaged 32.0 points, 9.5 assists, and 5.5 rebounds for 47 PRA per game.
He has gone over 40 PRA in three straight games and in eight of his nine games this season, coming up just short with 39 PRA in the one game he failed to go over this number. He will continue to carry the workload in this tough matchup against the Pistons, and he should be able to get to at least 40 PRA once again. Getting this player prop bet at just about even money is a great value option to start an SGP or SGPx or to just play as a straight-up independent player prop in this matchup.
Ausar Thompson over 6.5 rebounds (-130)
Without Harris and probably Stewart, Thompson could pick up more work on Sunday night, especially on the glass. Thompson is averaging 6.8 rebounds per game on the season and has gone over this prop line in three of his last five games and five of his nine games this season.
On Friday, he came in just under this prop line with six rebounds against the Nets, but he had seven rebounds against the Jazz, seven rebounds against the Mavericks, and 11 rebounds against the Magic in his last five games. If Stewart is ruled out as expected, Thompson should be able to get over this rebound prop line in a close game against the Sixers.
VJ Edgecombe 2+ Steals (+121)
Edgecombe has been excellent in the early part of the season for the Sixers, playing 38 minutes per game and contributing 16.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.
In this prop, I’m taking him to swipe multiple steals in this matchup, and getting it at plus money makes it a great value. While his shot has gone a little cold in his last few games, he has multiple thefts in three of his last four games. He had three steals in two of those games, averaging 2.0 steals per game in his last four contests. On Saturday, Edgecombe had three steals in 36 minutes, and the rookie should continue to stay very productive on both ends of the floor in this game. If the Sixers keep the game close and Edgecombe plays his usual minutes, he has a good shot at going over this prop.
