Matthew Stafford becomes 9th QB in NFL history to hit this milestone

Matthew Stafford keeps building on his Hall of Fame resume, putting up some eye-popping numbers throughout his career. He’s having one of his best seasons ever in 2025, continuing his stellar play on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.
In the second quarter, Stafford hit tight end Davis Allen for a 4-yard touchdown to give the Rams a 21-0 lead over their rivals. It was the 400th touchdown pass of his career, becoming just the ninth quarterback in NFL history to reach that milestone.
Tom Brady is miles ahead of everyone else with 649 touchdown passes, but Stafford is within reach of Philip Rivers for sixth all-time; Rivers had 421 in his career.
Stafford now has a league-high 23 touchdown passes after this score to Allen. That’s a massive number compared to his two interceptions, not only taking great care of the football, but consistently finding his receivers to put points on the board.
