SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The first snowfall of the season is expected to arrive in Central New York on Monday night. Residents in the area are more than excited for the weather change.
Residents’ reasons for their excitement are due to many reasons. For some, it’s all about the outdoor activities.
Michael Spinner, a Tipperary Hill resident, said, “I like building snowmen with my little siblings.”
Others enjoy staying cozy inside more.
Stephen Giannota, a resident of Syracuse, said, “I like being bundled up and staying inside, honestly.”
Last year, Central New York saw a salt shortage in the middle of the brutal winter. Now, families have been preparing in case this happens again.
“We have some left over from last year, so once that runs out, we’re going to go out and get more,” said Spinner.
