Matthew Stafford passes 9-time Pro Bowler for the 4th-most passing TDs in Rams’ history

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford entered the team’s Week 10 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium with the fifth-most passing touchdowns in franchise history with 116.
However, after throwing for four touchdowns against Robert Saleh’s defense on Sunday, Stafford now has 120 and has officially passed Norm Van Brocklin, who had 118.
Van Brocklin led the Rams to a 42-20-3 record in 65 games as the team’s starting quarterback from 1949-57 while completing 53.3% of his passes for 16,114 yards, 118 touchdowns and 127 interceptions. The nine-time Pro Bowler and NFL Hall of Famer still holds the NFL record for passing yards in a game (554) and showed off some impressive versatility, serving as the team’s punter throughout his career.
At this point in the season, Stafford is just two touchdowns behind Marc Bulger for the third-most in Rams history and is 22 behind Jim Everett for second. If he passes Everett this season, he’ll also climb all the way to sixth in career passing touchdowns in NFL history.
