Timothée Chalamet admits he’s disappointed he didn’t win the Oscar for Best Actor

American-French actor Timothee Chalamet recently admitted that he was disappointed not to win the Oscar for Best Actor for the film “A Complete Unknown.”Specifically, the 29-year-old actor commented on the loss at the 97th Academy Awards in an interview with Vogue, where he promoted his new film “Marty Supreme.”
Without the slightest regret, he admits that he would have liked to have won an Oscar in March of this year for his leading role in the biopic about musician Bob Dylan.
“If there are five people at an awards show and four of them go home with a loss, don’t you think those four people in the restaurant are going to say, ‘Well, we didn’t win?’ I’ve been around some generous, selfless actors and maybe some of them say, ‘That was fun.’ But I know a lot of them say, ‘Fuck you,'” the young actor said.
Chalamet was nominated for the Best Actor award at the Oscars alongside Colman Domingo (“Sing Sing”), Ralph Fiennes (“Conclave”), Sebastian Stan (“The Apprentice”) and Adrien Brody, who ultimately won the award for his performance in “The Brutalist.”
Chalamet is candid about his ambitions to win the support of audiences and judges alike for his acting roles. The actor openly said he was aiming for an Oscar when he won the SAG Award in February. /Telegraph/
