This recent news follows just a week after Dharmendra had been at the same hospital for what was termed a routine examination. During that time, Hema Malini was spotted at the airport, where she smiled and signaled “okay” to photographers inquiring about his condition. Meanwhile, Dharmendra’s son, actor Sunny Deol’s team, has also refuted the claims suggesting that the veteran actor is on ventilator support. In a statement to ETimes, they clarified, “It’s just rumor-mongering as usual; Sir is improving. He’s under observation. There’s no need for concern.”

Importantly, the 89-year-old had been admitted to the same hospital in late October as well. At that time, his team had indicated that it was for a routine check-up, and he had remained for further assessments.
